Staff were really friendly and understood our crap Spanish attempts at chat. The buffet breakfast and dinner was excellent value for money and beautifully presented. Secure car parking. Just what we expected for what we paid, if not surpassing our expectations. Would highly recommend this hotel especially if you wanted one close to the Spanish gp but don't want to pay Barcelona prices.
Secure car parking was a hidden cost but still worth it as its not clear where else is good to park for long periods of time and be as safe.

We enjoyed this hotel, it was spotlessly clean with an unbeatable and helpful and attentive staff. The private parking was around the property, very good service. Location: the hotel was really close to the local bars and shops really authentic spainish feel, and the beach and the train station.

The reasons I'm conflicted
The location is ideal for events like Ironman, easy access to the beach plus a buffet breakfast with ample options. The cheerful staff added a vibrant atmosphere.
Noise from the nearby railway can be disruptive and room cleaning sometimes lacks consistency, detracting from the overall experience.

I was competing in the Half Challenge Barcelona and this is probably the closest hotel to transition. The hotel even put on an early breakfast at 5am for competitors.
The hotel is next to the train station, which makes for early wake ups if not prepared although this wasn't a problem for me.

It was next to the railway station so you could get out to Barcelona very easily.
almost all of the staff could speak Dutch, it was not an spanish experience. It looked like we were still in our home town. Terrible! Futhermore it was way to expensive for what you get. Also Calella is not a Spanish style, but rather some kind of theme park with the theme: being turistic.

The beach is just a short walk away.
The room was uncomfortably cramped for three adults. The cleanliness left much to be desired, particularly the bed covers that smelled old. Noise from the cleaning staff made it difficult to relax in the mornings.

We had a jolly good time here, eh? The room was comfy with a nice balcony, but the breakfast needs more variety. Still, the location's sweet as!
